Joseph Carter has been obsessed with animals since birth, often keeping hidden pets from his parents growing up. When he was 15, he moved to his grandfather's ranch in Utah, and then heard about Mink as vicious, horrible creatures, and was determined to tame them. To everyone's surprise, he succeeded right away. He has been keeping them ever since, seeking to understand them better, and now has up to 27 mink at one time on his custom mink 'palace' at his home in Utah.
